The word for 2020 can be found in 1 Chronicles 20:20
2 Chronicles 20:15-20 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
16 Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel.
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.
19 Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.
20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
There have been a lot of prophetic words about President Trump winning a second term. Not just a few – a lot, and coming from prophets in different streams. The circumstances after election day look like they contradict those words. The media has already declared Joe Biden as the president elect.
At the same time, there are mounting reports of massive voter fraud going on, and concentrated in those swing states needed to win the election. There are not a few. There are many sworn affidavits of people detailing voter fraud that they saw. To falsely swear under oath that you witnessed something is in itself a felony, so these people are putting their freedom on the line by coming forward.
The election is not over until each state ratifies their vote. Nobody is elected yet. Remember the Bush-Gore election, and the “hanging chads” in Florida? It took 37 days to officially declare a winner.
So what should Christians be doing at this time? I must confess that the day after election day when it looked like Biden was winning, that I was disappointed and let my hopes and faith drop. But I have been convinced to pick it back up. Faith is still believing God even in the midst of contradictory circumstances.
Take up the same faith and same intensity you had for the outcome of this election as you had on election day. If it is indeed the case that there is a real attempt to steal the election through fraud (actually, I think there has been enough evidence to prove that there has been an attempt. Whether there is enough evidence to show that those attempts were enough to sway the results of the election will have to be proven in the courts), then we need to pray more than ever that it be discovered, exposed, and prosecuted. Rules should be changed (e.g. universal mail in voting) that made it easy for fraud to occur. Even if Joe Biden still wins, we cannot allow this to happen, for the sake of future elections.
And if the court cases are not enough to change the election results, and Joe Biden is declared the official winner? Then we should accept him as our new president and pray for him and his cabinet. 1 Tim 2:1-2 doesn’t only apply when you have “your guy” in office.
