Believe His Prophets

Note: I originally wrote this in 2020 right after the election. See the update in 2024 after the election.

The word for 2020 can be found in 1 Chronicles 20:20

2 Chronicles 20:15-20 15 And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
16 Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel.
17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”
18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.
19 Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.
20 So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

There have been a lot of prophetic words about President Trump winning a second term.  Not just a few – a lot, and coming from prophets in different streams.  The circumstances after election day look like they contradict those words.  The media has already declared Joe Biden as the president elect.

At the same time, there are mounting reports of massive voter fraud going on, and concentrated in those swing states needed to win the election.  There are not a few.  There are many sworn affidavits of people detailing voter fraud that they saw.  To falsely swear under oath that you witnessed something is in itself a felony, so these people are putting their freedom on the line by coming forward.

The election is not over until each state ratifies their vote.  Nobody is elected yet.  Remember the Bush-Gore election, and the “hanging chads” in Florida?  It took 37 days to officially declare a winner.

So what should Christians be doing at this time? I must confess that the day after election day when it looked like Biden was winning, that I was disappointed and let my hopes and faith drop.  But I have been convinced to pick it back up.  Faith is still believing God even in the midst of contradictory circumstances.

Take up the same faith and same intensity you had for the outcome of this election as you had on election day.  If it is indeed the case that there is a real attempt to steal the election through fraud (actually, I think there has been enough evidence to prove that there has been an attempt. Whether there is enough evidence to show that those attempts were enough to sway the results of the election will have to be proven in the courts), then we need to pray more than ever that it be discovered, exposed, and prosecuted.  Rules should be changed (e.g. universal mail in voting) that made it easy for fraud to occur. Even if Joe Biden still wins, we cannot allow this to happen, for the sake of future elections.

And if the court cases are not enough to change the election results, and Joe Biden is declared the official winner?  Then we should accept him as our new president and pray for him and his cabinet.  1 Tim 2:1-2 doesn’t only apply when you have “your guy” in office.

Update: January 2025:

So obviously Joe Biden became the 45th president of the United States. All those prophets were “wrong”.

One of them that predicted Trump would have a second term is Kris Vallotton. When is turned out that Joe Biden became the 45th president, he even apologized that he got it wrong (very few prophets will have the accountability to admit when they get a word wrong).

But, did he really get it wrong? The word was that Trump would have two terms. But everyone, including Kris, assumed that it would be two consecutive terms.

And therein is a danger concerning prophetic words. There can be a word given that is correct and accurate, but we put our own interpretation on it. “This is what God said (the word), but here it what He meant.”

There is a scriptural example of this in Acts 21:

Acts 21:3-4 3 When we had sighted Cyprus, we passed it on the left, sailed to Syria, and landed at Tyre; for there the ship was to unload her cargo.
4 And finding disciples, we stayed there seven days. They told Paul through the Spirit not to go up to Jerusalem.

Acts 21:8-12 8 On the next day we who were Paul’s companions departed and came to Caesarea, and entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.
9 Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied.
10 And as we stayed many days, a certain prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
11 When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’ “
12 Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem.

We see that several people were sensitive to the fact that Paul would have trouble if he went to Jerusalem. In vs. 4 and vs. 12 they put an interpretation on that: Paul, don’t go.

Now vs. 9 mentions Philip’s four daughters “who prophesied”, but then it talks about Agabus who is named as a prophet. Agabus already had a reputation as such. He is mentioned in Acts 11:28 as the one who prophesied that there would be a famine, and this precipitated the decision to take up a relief offering and send it to Judea.

Note that Agabus, who was in the office of the prophet, gave the word that others had that Paul would be bound in Jerusalem, but he didn’t give the interpretation that Paul shouldn’t go, like the others did.

So, back to the election, the word that Trump would serve two terms was accurate, although the interpretation that they would be consecutive terms was not.

It turns out that it is actually advantageous that Trump won in 2024 but not in 2020. Americans were able to see how disastrous leftist policies under the Biden administration actually were. Trump’s backing is much stronger now – he won the popular vote, Republicans have a majority in the senate. He is going to accomplish much more in draining the swamp of corruption than he could have in 2020. You see the world lining up to what a presidency under Trump will be, even before he takes office.

I mention some of the fraud that was evident in the 2020 election. We have those 15 million votes for Biden in the 2020 election that somehow “disappeared” for Democrats in the 2024 election.

Mike Lindell, founder of My Pillow, put together a team in 2020 investigating apparent fraud committed by the electronic voting machines. Their evidence, if you take a serious look at it, is pretty convincing. But he was immediately suppressed and cancelled. They came after his business. The Dominion company that makes the voting machines sued him.

“Oh, the courts proved that he was wrong”. No, that is not correct. The courts refused to look at his evidence. They wouldn’t take up the case.

Where did those extra 15 million votes for Biden come from in 2020? Maybe they should ask Mike.
